Povrömme’s vineyard

Povrömme’s vineyard

It’s the red wine coming from our oldest vineyards, more than 50 years of history’s old. It gives us not only its deep ruby red color, but also a unique fruit, a wide aromaticity tending to balsamic, hints of very ripe red fruit, jams as much elegant as much intense. The late harvest and the extraordinary skin of the Croatina grape grapes also give a fullness and complexity to the flavors of this wine, our flagship. Very dense to the consistency, it takes full advantage of the potential of the typical tannin that the lands of Rovescala know how to give to its best products. Its tannin combines with the one extracted from large wooden barrels in which it is aged for 8 months, before being bottled and lying in the dark in our cellars for at least 6 months.

Type: Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese, DOC (PDO)
Vineyard: Croatina grape 85% - 100%
Characteristics: intense ruby red, intense and pleasant aroma, with a delicate hint of yeast

Madone’s Vineyard

Madone’s Vineyard

Madone’s Vineyard

A very original wine that needs to be discovered, since it comes from a vineyard of Malvasia Aromatica di Candia, that is at least twenty years old. It is a vine present in the area, but very little exploited to obtain wines of a similar type. In fact, the still white wine inside this bottle explodes with floral aromas, aromas of yellow fruit, peach and apricot, but also of mango, honey and some aromatic herbs such as sage and mint. Once poured into the glass, its straw yellow color and consistency are immediately noticeable, typical characteristics of wines of a long perspective. On the palate, the breadth and volume with which it fills the mouth stands out, but also for its freshness, which gives it drinkability and pleasantness, notes that are not easy to find in still wines of this structure.

Type: Malvasia dell'Oltrepò Pavese, DOC (PDO)
Vineyard: White Moscato, Aromatic Malvasia of Candia
Characteristics: at sight it is pale straw yellow; floral and fruity scent; dry, fresh and lively flavor

Felice’s Vineyard

Felice’s Vineyard

Felice’s Vineyard

The definition for this caliber wines is: "perspective wines". Born from a Rhenish Riesling vineyard, it enjoys the uniqueness of this grape, which, combined with the very stony composition of the soil, gives minerality and longevity to our wine. The nose is typical of the wines of this family, vertical and clean, intense but clear with fruity scents, such as Lici and grapefruit, and characteristic minerals. On the palate, the strong acid blade given to it by the grapes, is fully combined with the structure of this white wine intended for long aging in the bottle, excellent right away, but whose potential will be discovered over time and with the patience with which great results are expeted.

Type: Rhenish Riesling Oltrepò Pavese, DOC (PDO)
Vineyard: Riesling
Characteristics: pale yellow, clear. Vertical and clean bouquet, intense but clear with fruity and mineral scents
